The Brotherhood continues on Mission!
We have gotten off to a great start this year. In keeping with our pillars of Prayer, Study, and Service, we continue to pray for the spread of Christ’s Kingdom, among men and youth.
We began our study series, Step Up, and 2 sessions in, I believe it will be one of the best we have done in a while. Thanks go to brother Nate Hyde for finding and leading this study.
We have also designated to help support Northside Intercommunity Center, by helping collect needed items each month. There will be a collection box in the church, if you would like to contribute.
NICA Item of the Month
April - Toothpaste, toothbrushes, dental floss
May - Toilet Tissue
June - Socks for Children (All Sizes)
In Service, we will once again assist with the Ulster Project. On April 1, we will partner in hosting the Color Me Irish event. A fundraiser which will provide food, music, and family fun for all.
We have also designated the 4th Saturday of each month to be available to the Jr. Warden for minor projects around the Parish.
For graduating seniors, see Cindy Paxton and pick up your application packet for the Bill Brown BOSA Scholarship. Applications are due March 5th. The scholarship will be announced on Youth Sunday, and awarded at the recognition banquet.
BOSA meetings will continue the 2nd and 4th Saturday each month, with Morning Prayer at 7:45, followed by the meeting at 8:00, and always done by 10:00.
Lenten Boot Camp
Lent is a time of penitence, fasting, prayers, and good works. If you'd like to "take it to the next level" this year, download and print Lenten Boot Camp, and use it as your guide to a holy and spiritual Lent. It will help you develop your "spiritual muscles".
